Use case: Use case is prepared by BA in the System Requirement Specification (SRS) which are nothing but a steps which are given by the customer.
Test Case: It is prepared by the Test Engineer based on the use cases from SRS to check the functionality of an application thoroughly.
Test Plan: Test plan is prepared by Team Lead, it represents the Scope of the test What to test and What not to test Scheduling What to test using automation etc.
Scenario: Scenarios are prepared in Load testing, complete one business flow, and It is a brief description of an event or a series of events or It is a hypothetical story used to help a person think through a complex problem or system.
Points to remember:
1. A test plan is a document that describes the scope, approach, resources, and schedule of intended testing activities, while a test case is a document that describes both typical and atypical situations that may occur in the use of an application.
2. Test procedures define test conditions, data to be used for testing, and expected results, including database updates, file outputs, and report results.
